Energy
Energy is a pre-condition of prosperity. It fuels our industries and food production, multiplies human labor, enables transportation, keeps us comfortable in our homes, makes electronic communications possible, enables modern day construction, and so on. In fact, there are few, if any, aspects of our society that do not depend on energy.
Energy production in the United States is under attack. There is hardly an energy source that extremist environmentalists like. They are against coal (which provides 40% of our nation’s electricity), gasoline, nuclear, hydropower, etc. About the only energy sources they support – solar and wind – are the most expensive, least efficient, and least dependable of all. And even those they attack in admitting wind turbines kill birds.
The assault on energy is no different in effect than an embargo on oil shipments, considered an act of war.
America’s future prosperity and sovereignty are directly tied to our ability to throw off these extremists and adopt rational energy policies that will allow our economy to grow and for our nation to become energy self-sufficient.
