►Nov 13, 2011 In the rush to grow solar energy sources, utility companies are paying $ billions over market value to purchase projects. “In the long run, this harms the state’s efforts to achieve greenhouse gas reductions because it will result in unnecessarily higher rates and people are going to get rate shock.” Enquiring minds must wonder: Who are the beneficiaries of all that money?
